"Martin Coiffier brouille les pistes jusqu’à l’envers du décor. 	“Martin Coiffier est fasciné par les reflets lumineux.&#38;nbsp; Et c’est quand on voit les images qu’il en fait, qu’on comprend pourquoi. A partir de formes abstraites on peut imaginer toutes sortes de figures, d’univers et d'histoires, un peu comme quand on contemple les nuages. 

Mieux encore, pendant qu’on s’y perd, on commence à se demander si on regarde une photographie ou un dessin au crayon. C’est troublant, dans le bon sens. Martin repasse, au crayon, au fusain ou à la pierre noire certains contours lumineux. Il amplifie ainsi l'énergie ondulatoire de la lumière. L’équilibre entre ses traits et ceux de la photographie crée une deuxième lecture, c’est comme si on apercevait l’aura de la lumière.”&#38;nbsp;
